Stability in the market continues

May's figures are now available from the HMRC and seasonally adjusted non-residential transactions have remained stable in May 2019.

Year-on-year, non residential transactions in May have remained relatively stable over the previous 5 years.


There has been a slight dip between this year and last with non-residential transactions in May 2019 approximately 1.8% lower than in May 2018.

The seasonal non-residential pattern remains consistent. The pattern generally features a low point at the start of the calendar year with a corresponding peak each March, coinciding with the end of the financial year.
